    A mix of street dance styles combined with lockin, poppin, house, crumping and B boy makes up the hip hop culture. Freezes, stalls and isolations.

    Contemporary/Lyrical
    Contemporary Dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several genres including, modern, jazz, lyrical, ballet. Dancers strive to connect the mind and body through fluid dance movements.

    Ballet
    A classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement.

    Competitive Dance
    Competitive Studio Dancers are required to take ballet, technique, and choreography each week. Competition season begins Jan. 1st and runs through July 1st. New dancers for upcoming year can begin training in Jan. 1 year prior to season

    Combination Class
    Combination classes consist of 30 min. of dance and 30 min. of tumbling. Classes learn 4 styles of dances and perform at 2 showcases per year. Performing at showcases is optional.

    Round- off Tucks, standing tucks, round -off hand tucks, lay out drills, round -off layouts, round-off hand layouts, punch fronts, front handspring punch front, combination tumbling, full twist drills, round- off hand fulls, standing hand fulls, standing fulls, whip through to fulls and double fulls

    Strength/coordination fundamentals such a forward rolls, backward rolls, handstand, back bends, cartweels, round - offs, handstand land in bridge, front walkovers, back walkovers, start back handspring drills

    Intermediate
    Progression training. Back handsprings, back walkover, back handsprings, front handspring, round-off back handspring, round -off- series, standing tuck drills, and round- off tuck drills

    Boys Rec. Equipment
    Introduction to mens gymnastics equipment. Boys learn fundamentals of strength training in all areas of the body. Boys will have the opportunity to train on rings, pommel horse, parallel bars, floor, vault and high bar

    Girls Rec. Equipment
    Introduction to womens gymnastics. Girls will strength train in all areas of the body. Girls will train on uneven bars, balance, beam, floor and vault

    UASG Boys/Girls Team
    USAG Team train between 3-6 hours per week. Boys/Girls do 1 hour core/strength training per week. They train on all equipment preparing for gymnastics meets. The gymnastics team, AB Elite, competes at 3 meets per year
